Starting February 14 through March 15 you can warm your heart and wipe out your fines at Waterford Public Library. The library will forgive $1.00 of your fines for each new grocery item you bring in.
Area food pantries are very low on supplies, so we’ve decided to help. Any 1 of the following 5 items will erase $3.00 of your fines: canned meats, deodorant, shampoo, dish detergent, or a
4 pack or more of toilet paper.
Any 1 of the following 3 items will erase $5.00 of your fines: disposable diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6),
laundry detergent, feminine hygiene products.
All items collected will be donated to Love, Inc., which served 319 area families in January 2008.
